On this occasion, he laid the foundation stone for the widening of Katikta-Jaipur Karandia Branch Canal Road from Nischintakoli-Nemal Tilkana Street at a cost of Rs.Rs 22 crore 68 lakh .
He laid the foundation stone for a new high bridge over the Salt River at Pusung at a cost of Rs 42 crore 38 lakh and a spur packing at Sadhak Nagar on the left side of the Salt River at a cost of Rs 5 crore. Notable MLA Mr. Jena was felicitated at various places while thousands of people escorted him to the auspicious cremation site on a huge patio from Nischintkoili Street.
